There is something rather special about a beautifully made jacket with a surprise inside. This vintage Frey Como 1899 piece pairs understated khaki silk with a wonderful jungle-print silk lining, featuring animals, foliage and flowers in soft blue, olive and golden tones.
The diamond quilting gives it lovely texture, while cream piping neatly frames the rounded collar, front edges and diagonal pockets. Turned-back cuffs reveal a contrasting dark finish.
I would wear this with cream knitwear and ivory trousers for an effortless autumn look, or simply with jeans and boots.
