Hi ladies,
This is one of those Karen Millen pieces where the print really does all the work. The deep navy-charcoal ground is scattered with painterly florals in rich raspberry, magenta, plum, coral and touches of muted green, giving it wonderful autumn colour without feeling overly bright.
The fabric has a lovely smooth, satin-like feel and the classic pencil shape is beautifully finished with a wide 2" black grosgrain waistband. It is fully lined, fastens at the side and has an 11" back kick pleat, giving enough movement while keeping that sleek Karen Millen silhouette.
I particularly love this with a simple black fine-knit top and boots. It lets those glorious colours take centre stage and makes the skirt surprisingly easy to wear from autumn right through into the festive season.
There are no signs of wear that I can see and it presents beautifully.
