I chose this Derek Lam 10 Crosby jacket because the fabric is so striking up close. Black, grey and ivory threads create a wonderfully tactile, tufted texture, yet it is easy to wear with pieces you may already have.
I love the shape, too. It draws in gently at the waist and flares slightly at the hem. The centre zip finishes where the lower fronts open, and there are two small patch pockets that almost disappear into the weave. The gold-tone zips sit at the backs of the cuffs—a lovely detail you notice as the jacket moves. It is fully lined.
I’ve checked it carefully and can see no signs of wear.
