Some pieces bring an outfit to life all on their own. This vintage Bazar de Christian Lacroix jacket combines soft lemon yellow, lilac and blush tones with intricate black crochet detailing for a look full of character.
The beautifully textured pattern is framed by black scalloped trim around the round neckline and open front. Two pockets with angled black edging and long sleeves with trimmed cuff slits complete the design, while the softly coloured script-print lining is a lovely finishing touch.
I love the contrast between those gentle pastel shades and the bold black detailing. Wear it over a simple black top and tailored trousers to let the crochet shine, or layer it over a plain dress for an individual occasion look.
