A wonderfully distinctive older Odd Molly design, style 390A “I Love to Surprise Me”, created in crisp white cotton with intricate taupe-grey embroidery.

The relaxed empire-line silhouette is shaped by a wide taupe panel beneath the bust, with a satin ribbon tie at the back allowing the waist to be drawn in beautifully. At the centre front sits a fabulous embroidered panel featuring three rich red flowers surrounded by navy and cream detailing, finished with the sweetest little satin bow.

The lightweight cotton, gathered skirt and three-quarter sleeves give it the easy, bohemian character for which Odd Molly is so loved. It is short, playful and full of personality—perfect with simple leather sandals for summer or styled with boots and a cardigan as the seasons change.

This specific design comes from one of Odd Molly’s older archival collections and is increasingly difficult to find, particularly in unworn condition.

Why I love this

It is impossible not to smile at this dress. The taupe embroidery is exceptionally pretty, but it is the wonderfully bold red-and-navy floral panel that makes it unmistakably Odd Molly. It feels carefree and bohemian while still being beautifully detailed and thoughtfully made.
