Vintage AnnaBelinda Oxford Navy & White Floral Dress UK 14/16

An Oxford original with all the distinctive detailing that makes vintage AnnaBelinda so collectable.

This beautiful long dress is crafted from a lightweight, semi-sheer dark navy fabric scattered with delicate white flowers and subtle raised tonal floral detailing. The contrasting patterned bib neckline is framed with navy binding and fine white piping, with a short row of fabric-covered button-and-loop fastenings at the front.

Turn the dress around and the craftsmanship continues: a coordinating contrast back yoke and an extraordinary row of covered buttons extending halfway down the back. Matching contrast cuffs finish the short sleeves, while the gently shaped body falls into a softly flared, fluid skirt.

The silhouette is relaxed rather than fitted, making it elegant, comfortable and remarkably wearable. Presented in superb vintage condition with no visible signs of wear.

AnnaBelinda was an independent Oxford fashion house founded in 1971 and celebrated for its beautifully made, romantic clothing. This dress is believed to date from the late 1970s to 1980s.
